After finally getting the image I had been striving to get for years (read Frosted Veins 1.), I sat down to study the frost. What I found is what you see - complexity beyond what you would have perceived at first glance.
Crystals growing as an extension of the leaf structure.
Air bubbles trapped in time in drops of ice.
Waves frozen in time.
What is so striking to me is the structure. The crystals of the frost have layers like they were growing. And the structure itself is held up and together by the Lord Jesus, who cares even of these smallest details - how much more does he care about you?
Add this image to your wall as a 12”×18” print, and consider pairing it with its companion picture; “Frosted Veins 1.”, which tells of an adventure of years to get an image I had longed to capture.
